Keith Merrill - Executive Vice President and General Manager
Keith is Executive Vice President & General Manager for AdDynamix. Mr. Merrill brings 13 years of experience in business management. Working for Universal Studios Creative in 1996 he negotiated and managed design and engineering contracts for Universal Studios Japan until 2001. He developed the contracts for long term Corporate Marketing Program which integrated sponsors such as Fuji Film, Coca Cola and Asahi Beer within Universal Studios Japan. Following, as global contracts manager for Universal Music Group IT services, he managed teams in Paris and Los Angeles focusing on service level requirements and large scale vendor escalation management. Prior to working with AdDynamix, Keith was the Director of Business Affairs for MICE Creative where he oversaw the operations of a $7 million a year experiential marketing and project management firm interfacing with clientele such as Motorola and Verizon to ensure that cost, scheduling constraints, contractual requirements and scopes of work were successfully achieved. Keith earned a BA in Business Communications at Northeastern University and Bridgewater College in Massachusetts. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Carol-Ann and his two daughters.
Alan R. De Leon - Vice President, U.S. Digital Sales
Alan is a ten year online industry veteran and authority of digital media and business development, He has developed sponsorships and alliances with some of the largest digital entertainment brands, consumer package goods and and website communities online: Representing iVillage.com, Wedding Channel, NBC Universal and Warner Bros. Entertainment, Alan?s positions have included Vice President of Business Development, National Director of Advertising, and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships managing combined online revenue budgets over $10MM annually. Notable cllients and strategic partnerships include Microsoft, Sony Entertainment, NBC Universal and General Motors. Alan graduated with a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla and lives in Escondido,CA with his wife Sharyn and three children.
Samuel Gendler - Executive VP of Technology
Prior to joining AdDynamix, Mr. Gendler was Director of Engineering at Adconion Media Group, where he was responsible for building and managing the technology group as well as architecting all in-house adserving technologies. Sam was previously the Software and Systems Architect at FastClick, where he designed the FastClick search portfolio optimization product and streamlined their ad serving technology platform. He was also Systems Architect at Efficient Frontier, where he was responsible for the design of components of the search marketing portfolio optimization service. Prior to his introduction to the internet advertising industry, Sam worked as the Lead Architect at Akamai, where he designed, prototyped, and led the development effort of Akamai's dynamic content assembly platform and next generation web server platform. As an Applications Architect and Engineering Lead at Cisco Systems, he built the first generation of transparent web caching and acceleration technologies. Sam studied Music and Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Douglas Russell - VP of Technology
Douglas Russell started his career in the defense industry writing software tools and hardware controllers. He then worked for NASA for 5 years providing software tools, data analysis, and web tools. From there he worked as a web development consultant before coming to AdDynamix. He has extensive knowledge in software development, real time systems, and web development. Since online advertising is a real time system with extensive data analysis, he was a perfect fit for our business. He started as our lead developer and is now in charge of our entire technology team. Douglas is crucial for the development of new software and implementation of new technology. Douglas holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and lives in Los Angeles with his wife Caroline and two children.
